Equipt's stance (v3.0)

Cookieless analytics by default. The site uses Vercel Speed Insights and Vercel Analytics in their cookieless mode; both run on aggregated, anonymous signals; neither sets a tracking cookie or stores an IP address tied to your browser session.

Equipt does not run Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or any advertising or attribution tracker in v3.0. If Equipt adds any of those in a future release, the site will ship a consent banner with it; the change will be visible before any non-essential cookie is set.

Strictly necessary cookies Equipt sets

Three cookies; all strictly necessary; no consent required under UAE PDPL, Qatar PDPPL, or KSA PDPL because each one is functionally required for the page you are on.

NamePurposeExpiryType
equipt_sessionMaintains your form state across the 3 multi-step contact form panels; clears when you submit or close the tab.SessionStrictly necessary
equipt_csrfCross-site request forgery token bound to the contact form POST; protects you against form spoofing.SessionStrictly necessary
equipt_localeStores your country selection (ae, qa, sa) so refreshing the page does not reset your route.12 monthsStrictly necessary

Equipt does not set any other cookies in v3.0. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived first-party token (under 30 minutes) when the form is interacted with; that token is functional, not tracking, and does not persist a profile.

Third-party scripts that may set their own cookies

Two surfaces may set their own functional cookies on the routes that load them.

  • Cal.com inline embed (loads only on /[entity]/thanks): Cal.com sets first-party functional cookies on its own domain (app.cal.com) for the booking widget. None of those cookies are tracking; all are required for the booking flow. Cal.com privacy policy: cal.com/privacy.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (loads on the contact form on first input focus): functional token cookies with a short lifetime; documented at cloudflare.com/cookie-policy.

Neither surface is loaded on any other route.

What changes when Equipt adds a marketing pixel

If a future release adds a marketing or attribution tracker, Equipt will ship a Cookie Information Bar at the same time. The bar will:

  • Default to no consent for non-essential cookies on first visit.
  • Offer a single one-tap accept and a single one-tap reject for non-essential cookies.
  • Remember your choice for 12 months.
  • Be reachable from the footer at any time so you can change your mind.

Until then, no banner; there is nothing non-essential to consent to.

How to clear or block Equipt's cookies

Use your browser's site-data settings to clear cookies for equipt.ae, equipt.qa, or equipt.ae/sa. You can block all cookies in your browser; the contact form may stop working without the strictly necessary three above; the rest of the site will load normally.
